I live in the beautiful city of Edinburgh with my husband, son and two cats. I have a BEng in Information Technology and Electronics and currently work as a Business Analyst/Project Manager. In my spare time I enjoy a good walk and love to watch Tennis and Football. My love for reading blossomed in my early thirties, I always read on holidays, but it then became a favorite pastime especially if I found a good series and got deeply involved with the characters and story. I like a very wide range of genres from Patricia Cornwell’s crime to the more lighthearted Jodi Taylor’s time travelling Chronicles of St Mary’s series.

 

No matter the book though I always found myself in amongst the characters and I suspect that’s where the compulsion to write came from, I would often make up stories in my head but never really did anything with them. If I watched a TV series or read a book, I would often think of what could have been different for the characters or an alternative ending which was all my own. This is ultimately what inspired me to start writing.
