It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like ...🎄

December has arrived with that cosy “curl up with a book” energy — and I’m embracing it wholeheartedly. With Book 3 off for proofreading and edits, I’ve given myself permission to catch up on reading… and I even counted how many I’ve finished this year.

Turns out I’ve read 30 books in 2025! About two and a half a month — not bad at all, and it’s reminded me just how much reading fuels my own creativity. I’m currently picking out my favourite (and not-so-favourite!) reads of the year, so look out on social media for that.

I’m also reflecting on this year’s book events. Every stall has taught me something new, helped refine my setup, and brought me into conversations with readers I never would’ve met otherwise. And somewhere along the way, I’ve managed to double my newsletter subscribers too! I’m already excited for next year’s appearances with my lighter, more streamlined stall design.

Most of all, I just feel grateful — for the stories I get to write, the readers who give them a chance, and this little weekly space to share the journey.
